Minimalist podcasts are my current obsession and at the moment, these are my favorites. Check them out! I’m guessing you’ll find inspiration you didn’t even know you needed.
As busy women, our to do lists are never ending – but having something new to listen to while you work makes it a million times better.
Whether I’m cooking in the kitchen, washing dishes, cleaning, or driving, I’m 98% of the time listening to a podcast or an audiobook. There’s always something new to think about, ideas to ponder – and more often than not, the action they prompt me to take has a positive effect on my home, my mind, and my family. Win, win, win.
Ready to get listening? Download your favorite podcast app (I love the aptly named “Podcasts” app on my iPhone š ) Now, let’s get started!

There are placed in no particular order (after Allie Casazza’s “The Purpose Show”…she’s my top fave) š
“Mom life. We are surrounded with the message that itās the tired life. The no-time-for-myself life. The hard life. And while it is hard and full of lots of servitude, the idea that motherhood means a joyless life is something I am passionate about putting a stop to. Iām on a mission to help you stop counting down the minutes till bedtime, at least most days. I want you to stop cleaning up after your kidās childhood and start being present for it. Start enjoying it. I believe in John 10:10 āthat we are called to abundant lifeā and I know mothers are not excluded from that promise. Join me in conversations about simplicity, minimalism and lots of other good stuff that leads to a life of less for the sake of enjoying more in your motherhood. Iām Allie Casazza and this is The Purpose Show.”
She had me at hello with this intro. Allie’s podcasts are chock full of actionable steps you can take and little wisdom nuggets that will have you saying,”is it really that simple?! I’m giving it a go!” Go ahead. Go add her podcast to your library right now. I’ll wait…

“We believe that all families have a beautiful story woven into the DNA of their home. We believe that the home is the nucleus of that story and the center of a lifelong adventure together. We believe that living minimally–less stuff, less obligations, and less stress–creates a cohesive home. We believe in carefully choosing homes, jobs, schools, and activities thatĀ create freedom rather than burdens.
Hereās the deal:Ā weāre not professional organizers, psychologists, or life coaches. Weāre just normal moms who grew tired of lives that felt like a too small shoe, desiring instead a beautifully simply life and home. We are lazy minimalists, and weāve learned through experience how to simplify a family home AND keep the kids happy. We truly believe that getting rid of all of the clutter–physical and mental–allows the authentic version of your family to flourish.
If youāre looking for an expert to tell you 10 ways to declutter your house, you might want to look elsewhere. But if you want support from a community of like-minded families, weāve got you. If youāre looking for minimalist decorating advice and how-tos for creating the perfect white box empty house, you might want to look elsewhere. But if youāre dying to see howĀ real people actually create simple homes AND live in them, weāve got you.”

“The Minimalist MomsĀ Podcast is a weekly conversation between two simple-living and minimalism-loving moms, Megan Ericson and Diane Boden.
Our goal is to inspire you to think more and do with less.”
I hope you love these minimalist podcasts as much as I do! If you’re not so much an earbud person, and prefer to have your podcasts playing on speakers while you work, these small bluetooth speakers are great – and of course, these are the creme’ de’ la creme‘. š
